Rover Mini italian Job 1275 Limited Edition ***(With Trailer!)***
Up for sale is my Red 1993 Rover Mini Italian Job, with 116,000 miles. She has a brand new MOT certificate ( passed with no marks!!!!) and is Taxed until Feb 2008.
I also have a GRP mini trailer, which will never rust, is about 1.3 the weight of the converted mini trailer. It is painted in Red, with chrome mubmpers and minilight wheels. This is being sold seperately and I am open to sensible offers, the kit is around £600!
I have owned her for nearly 2 years now and I feel the need for a convertible and a little more go! She has had a lot of work done to her since I have had her:
New Cills, both Inner and Outer
New front discs and pads
New Rear wheel cylinders & pads
New Handbrake Cable
New rear Subframe
Recently fitted recon Hif-44 Carb and new needle
New Water Pump
New Dizzy cap & rotor arm
New HT Leads
New JVC stereo with CD and Ipod input
New JBL 6x9"s
New Sony 51/4" Front Speakers.
New Front Perspex tinted Visors
New Head Gasket Set with the Head reskimmed. - Excellent Compression, right the way across all cyclinders.
New Clutch
New Shocks
She has the min italian job interior with new red carpets, black mats, a custom painted dashboard and other little bits. I will add some more pics of the interior very soon.
She runs really well, It has been my daily driver for the past 18 months. I just came back from the Isle of Man for the TT races, a round trip of 1000 miles, and she ran with out fault.
I did a big trip last August, 2000 miles in 1 week, 4 people and a trailer ( a mini looking fibreglass - trailer painted the same colour!) with camping gear and I had no problems, infact since all the work above, I have had no problems with her.
There a few things that are small but worth mentioning, she crunches into reverse. I have done 11,000 miles since I took it on and its no worse and is fine.
There are a few patches of rust on the body, nothing too major. She isnt going to win any shows, but is a genuine straight mini that would benefit from a rub down and paint in places.
I am not in a hurry to sell her, if I dont get the price I am looking for I will have her restored and start all over again!
I am looking for around £1700 for her, which is reasonably given the running condition! You can jump straight in and driver her day to day with no worries.
